What is arthroplasty?

Arthroplasty refers specifically to the surgical procedure where a joint is replaced, remodeled, or otherwise repaired. This term is commonly associated with the replacement of damaged or deteriorated joints, often due to conditions such as arthritis or injury. The surgery aims to restore function and alleviate pain in the affected joint.
